While the finished output of PictureMate 290 is excellent, the ink cartridge inthe T5846 print packs only last long enough to use 50-80 of the enclosed 150 4X6 paper sheets.

Excellent photo paper and ink cartridge for my Epson picturemate. The only grip I have is the ink will run out before the paper. They don't sell the OEM ink cartridge alone except if you buy the generic one.

My mother-in-law's favorite hobby is to take family pictures and share the pictures as gifts. She prints the pictures herself at home and she goes through a LOT of photo paper! The great deal we found on Amazon made it easy to be generous and we give her photo paper on nearly every occasion. It makes great prints! She is as happy as can be!

I have tried all printers and inks. I am a pro photographer. If you want to put ink to the test then use any printer except Epson. Use any ink except Epson.
1. Print your photo
2. Put water on it
3. Watch it smear everywhere
That is why I only use Epson Printers and Epson Inks Period! Get water on it, and it does not go away.

Great product; would be nice if it combined the paper with ink, an all-in-one. But a good value as is.
